Welcome to my page. My name is Emily and I left my corporate job to conduct workshops full-time!

I didn’t mean for it to happen, but I started running my own workshops at my previous company for fun – to get to know my colleagues better and to help them practice presentation skills. It was a hit across all departments, and I started running them once or twice a month. Then I realised that I wanted to pursue them full-time to empower more people across different organisations, so here I am!

I draw on my background in sales and storytelling. I have over 5 years of sales experience, having worked in retail and business development. I hold a degree in English Language & Literature from Oxford University, and I presented a TEDx talk in front of 800 people in 2022. It’s about what my immigrant parents taught me about life and you can watch it here (though you might need tissues). Doing my talk remains the scariest thing I’ve ever done, but also my proudest achievement.

For most people, public speaking is terrifying. I get nervous too, so I get it! But I have felt the power of commanding a room with just my voice, and I want others to feel its empowering effect. 

Any kind of presentation is ultimately about communication – fortunately, this is a skill that can be learnt and a muscle that can be strengthened. With that in mind, you can think of me as your personal trainer!
